Why does the app find no barcodes?
We are using the Open Food Facts Database to get all the information about a food. This database contains more than 3 million products in total. However, if the product you scanned is not inside this database, we can not show you any information about it. The good news is that the database constantly gets expanded and I am also currently working on a feature that allows you to manually add a product that was not found.
Why is there no translation of the app in my language?
Currently we only have an English and German translation for the app. This is because the app was made by a solo-developer that does not speak any other languages. I have a problem with the app on my phone
Even though I thoroughly tested the app on many different phones, I can't assure that it is working on all devices. If you have an issue on your device, please send me an e-mail and I will do my best to fix the issue as soon as possible. Important: Please send me a brief description of the issue and include some screenshots as well as your phone model (e.g. iPhone 11 Pro) in the email.
